Imagine yourself sipping your favorite drink out on deck of our luxury cruise line as we slowly sail the majestic Inner Passage and Glacier Bay. You’re surrounded by glaciers the size of mountains that will dwarf the size of 3,000 passenger ship. Suddenly a large chunk of ice breaks off and crashes into the ocean with a giant rumble and huge splash. We will have the opportunity to see moose, black bears, seals and sea lions, whales and possibly the elusive polar bear.

Each port of call offers many exciting options to explore. At Ketchikan and Skagway take advantage of participating in such magnificent day trips on the famed Mendenhall Glacier or a train ride on the vintage train through the White Pass. Dog sledding anyone? We are fortunate to also stop on Victoria Island, Canada where the architecture will remind you of old English towns. Here you may also decide to visit the renowned Butchart Gardens, one of the most spectacular botanical gardens in the world.

One word is all you need to describe Alaska. Breathtaking!

To reserve a place on this cruise Star Princess will require a 20% per cabin deposit. Final payment is due on or before February 10, 2012.

Join our group as we sail the majestic Inside Passage of Alaska on the new luxurious Star Princess. We will sail round-trip from Seattle.

People visit Alaska specifically to see the splendor of this most magnificent state. We sail through great rivers and fjords of ice surrounded by glaciers that dwarf the size of the ship. Nothing can match your first glimpse of glimmering crystal blue water and towering glaciers of ice thousands of years old. Watch in amazement as large chunks, known as calves, break free from the glacier and crash into the waters. Our voyage will spend an entire day cruising through breath taking Glacier Bay National Park. This will be an awe inspiring day!!

During our seven day voyage we will stop at three of Alaska’s most iconic towns. Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan plus we visit the most charming and very English town of Victoria, British Columbia (Canada) with its quaint and charming Victorian architecture plus the famed Buchart Gardens. This is a personal highlight of mine.

Along the way we should see moose, penguins, sea lions and seals, eagles, whales and hopefully polar bears. Since we are past rainy season the magnificent wild flowers will be in full bloom along with lush forests of tall pines. The temperatures will be moderate and quite comfortable. For these reasons plus the lack of children make this one of the best times to sail.
